This concert hall in Malaysia is purpose built for classical music by the oil company, Petronas. Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra performs here and uses the place as their base. Since its opening, Dewan Filharmonik has hosted some of the greatest artists and orchestras in the world. International jazz performances are also performed here along with traditional Malaysian dance and music cultural productions. This jewel- box shaped hall can accommodate 885 people at once, with the space being designed to serve all kinds of music- Malaysian dance to orchestra to solo violin. Dewan Filharmonik can also be used for professional recording as well.
