James: After staying at various airport hotels in Kuala Lumpur which felt impersonal and having enjoying the personalised hospitality of bed and breakfast in England, France and Australia we felt the combination of a family guesthouse near to the busy KLIA airport terminal would be a successful combination.
James: Rumah Putih is situated outside Kuala Lumpur avoiding the hustle and bustle of the city but with the high speed train line between downtown KL and the airport, our guesthouse enjoy both the ideal location, not to mention the F1 circuit in Sepang is only 10 minutes by car.
Rumah Putih is located in the village of Kota Warisan which is full of everyday Malaysian community life from it’s night market and local shops to seeing a local wedding celebration it offers a traveller a taste of everyday Malaysian life in comfortable surroundings. In the near future there will be a University and Outlet mall in the near vicinity.
James: We often welcome returning guests as well as friends and family of guests who have stayed here in the past.
James: Our philosophy is to provide our guests with the service we would like to receive when we travel. This means to give priority to guests arriving from long haul flights to ensure tired travellers can rest and recuperate in a peaceful atmosphere after a long journey. Having received many thousands of guests in the past we have a good idea of what guests needs and requirements are during their stay, and ensuring a stress free transit between flights.
James: We have 6 guest rooms which is enough to give the house a friendly atmosphere without being overcrowded. We do not intend to expand as we want to retain the boutique feel and personalised service.
