Chinatown in Kuala Lumpur is a huge shopping area famous among the locals and the tourists visiting Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia. The streets have a number of colonial buildings erected on the sides. The market is open mainly during the day but comes out alive and vibrant at night when most of the malls close down and the number of stalls goes high. There are Hindu and Chinese temples on either side of the roads. The local market offers handmade products at cheap prices. You can also find some of the fresh coconut stalls here. You can make a reasonable buy you have bargaining skills.
