Lemon Garden Cafe
Summary:
4.2
Lemon Garden Cafe is in Shangri La Hotel at Jalan Sultan Ismail, Kuala Lumpur. At the cafe, Italian, Chinese, Indian and Malaysian cuisines are served. Food is processed and dishes are prepared in open kitchen that provides guests the opportunity to experience the chefs in action as they exhibit their talent. The smell of fresh items and authentic spices function as the appetiser before the appetiser. It is not the only open-kitchen eatery in Kuala Lumpur but the experience is enjoyable wherever available.
On the other side of Lemon Garden Cafe lies the buffet galore.
Mouthwatering Malaysian, Indian, Chinese and Italian cuisines are available daily.
Thursday and Saturday are the seafood nights that cost about RM140 per person after 17% tax. The restaurant claims that seafood is always prepared fresh. However, when we tried the baby lobsters (as shown below), the flesh started to get rotten and produce foul smell. A big minus to the high end buffet.
Friday is the barbecue night that is priced at about RM150 after 17% tax. Succulent barbeque buffet with hearty servings of chicken, turkey and beef are the highlights.
Don’t forget to try the smooth desserts while you end your meal.
