This cafe- restaurant specialises in serving Southeast Asian cuisine, combining Malay and Straits Chinese delicacies. This place has tried hard over all these years to remain unchanged, with its kitchen still and doors still having wooden latches and all. But to the dismay of many, this kind of pre- war shops won’t be lasting for long. This cafe tries to maintain semblance of the old social life of the Chinese community which is fading slowly into history. This place is a reminder to every one of us of the hardships experienced by Kuala Lumpur’s early Chinese settlers.
