The bank receives a huge number of visitors every year that include VIPs and school children. Bank Negara Money Museum is a property of national heritage where you would find a display of the evolution of Malaysian currency starting from the early times and continuing to the modern times. The museum is itself an artistic work. It was opened first in the year 1989. Each of the arches inside the museum including its lighting, panels, and shelves and old teak entrances, are carved artistically. The money museum is located in Central Bank Building and offers free admission.
